Privacy Policy
LeakHunter is a 100% local security scanner. No login, no accounts, no data collection.
What LeakHunter Collects
Nothing. LeakHunter does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage statistics, telemetry, or file contents. The application runs entirely in your browser and performs all scanning locally on your machine.
There is no authentication system. No login is required. No accounts are created. No GitHub tokens are requested. The application has no backend server and no central database.
Network Connections
LeakHunter makes a single network request on page load — a killswitch check that verifies application availability. This request transmits only a static project identifier and language preference. No file contents, scan results, or personal information are transmitted. If the killswitch is unreachable, the scanner continues to function normally.
No Data Storage
LeakHunter does not create any files, databases, or persistent storage on your device. There are no cookies, no local storage entries for user data, and no configuration files. The application is entirely ephemeral — refreshing the page resets all state.

Third-Party Services
LeakHunter loads fonts from Google Fonts for typography. This is a standard browser request that may transmit your IP address to Google. No other third-party scripts, resources, or analytics services are loaded.
Open Source & Auditability
LeakHunter is open source. The full source code is available on GitHub. Every privacy-relevant code change is visible in the public commit history. You are free to inspect, compile, and verify exactly what the software does.
