2. Software Usage

LeakHunter is a local security scanner that runs entirely in your browser. It requires no login, no accounts, and no authentication. The software is provided for defensive security and auditing purposes only.

3. Data Collection & Privacy

LeakHunter does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, file contents, scan results, or usage statistics. The only network request is a killswitch check that transmits a static project identifier. No file contents or personal information are ever transmitted.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of LeakHunter, you agree to:

• Use the software in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Scan only files and directories you own or have permission to audit
• Review flagged results before taking action — the tool assists but does not replace human judgment
• Not use LeakHunter to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

5. Intellectual Property

LeakHunter is open source software. The code you scan with LeakHunter — your project files — remains your intellectual property. Lidprex Labs does not claim any ownership over your code, data, or repositories.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

LeakHunter is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The software performs file system scanning that may produce false positives or false negatives. You are advised to review all results carefully.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Lidprex Labs or the contributors to LeakHunter be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms as the software evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
